Border 35th scale MkVb, Malta!

Tried to make the paint look like it has been in the sun for a while.

 

Made some progress this long weekend, it was nice. Tomorrow back to buseniss I am afraid.

Little progress, but the Spitfire starts to look like what I had in mind.

 

 

 

Does any know where I can find the file for the serial number for the Silhouette printer?

Sharp looking build. Love the masked details.

Put on the serial numbers, allowed myself some artistic freedom.

Started the weathering, used a brownish sludge wash, yes that went well!!!! After that the real weathering. I am trying real hard not to overdo it but I want to give the plane a Malta look, dust and more than well used. 

 

 

Your thoughts about this so far would be appriciated.

Started the weathering on the underside. It aint no Merlin if it doesn't leak oil....

Used the picture as a reference

 

I might make it on time.

She is ready!!! and I made the deadline which is nice also. It was a nice kit to build but I found it has some issues but I took care of them.

 

 

 

And the difference between 1/35 and 1/32nd scale is more than I expected.

 

 

I parked her and it is getting buzzy out there.

Well done. I agree that there is a significant difference in scale between 1/32 &1/35. It looks like a nice model to build. Thanks for submitting your WIP.
