Oldbaldguy Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Ya know, I don’t even bother to say, “WTFO???” anymore when I check the site in the morning. I just pretend whatever you guys cook up is normal modeling and go with it. Stevepd, Martinnfb and Shoggz 3

dutik Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Great idea! There is a lot of stuff for a 1/32 Mig-25 from Tempmodel of Russia: Exhausts, wheels, seat, sensors/antennas, missles, even a boarding ladder. But I donn't know if delivery to Germany is possible at the moment due to the international issues. Regards - dutik Martinnfb and Daniel Leduc 2

foxhead Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) I hope to buy several of these if they are available for purchase. Several because my skills with resin or other more rare and advanced models are limited, so it will take me several tries to build it I fear. I hope that might give me room to express an opinion: I think the nose is too short currently. Here is an approximate comparison with the computer graphics model by Samedov on sketchfab. I compared that model to some plan views and it looked like it mostly matched. Link to picture (I could not figure how to insert in the post): https://pasteboard.co/eSQQg620eFj6.jpg For some reason many of the Mig25 models get the nose shape wrong (in my opinion). It has a subtle shape, the bottom part extends below the main fuselage giving it the look of sloping downward, and the shape changes from the front to back from round to more square/oval. In my opinion the nose on the KittyHawk 1:48 model was so bad that I could not buy that model (though I badly wanted a large scale model). The ICM -PD (or D?) model is better but somehow not quite right. Edited March 20 by foxhead Daniel Leduc, Stevepd and Martinnfb 3
