Great job Tolga! :clap2:

Not raining on this parade, just FYI for any future builds.

My research suggests that the insides of the undercarriage doors were painted the same colour as the lower surfaces.

Thanks Pete, noted.

The turret looks fantastic Tolga!  What color did you use for the gun barrels?

Matt

Thanks Matt, I used Alclad steel for the gun barrels

Any idea if another run of these things will appear? I missed it the first time around.

It's a test build, it hasn't been released yet.

Sorry Tolga, my pedancy kicks in again. Defiants had all black turrets - no green

Edit: in case you want to/have time to change it

I don't think that I agree it's that definitive Pete and say so in the instructions - ALL turrets had black frames, but from what I can tell, there were a mixture of all black, a darker green and / or the camo colours..

you can see the colour differences in some photo's like these..

Great job by the way Tolga - there are a bunch of decals in the kit to cover the turret instrumentation & placards :)

Today is the last stage of "Le Tour de Defiant". The Tour, which has been going on for almost two months, ends today. I would like to thank Peter again for making this experience possible. It was a great experience for me. I think he also was happy with the result.

Thanks for watching.

A superb model Tolga. Peter would have struggled to find a better candidate to bring his creation to life in such a professional and timely fashion.

You guys made a great team.

What an achievement. A completely 3D printed masterpiece constructed and finished to the highest level.

Your Defiant looks superb. Well done

This makes for a top notch showcase of both your talents and Peter's model kit.

Airscale would struggle to find a more enticing advertisement for this project. :clap2:

I hope you have encouraged throngs of modellers to dip deep into their pockets and treat themselves to one enabling Peter to bring more offerings to our world.

Great job. :speak_cool:
