And the Defiant is coming along nicely too.... Edit: one concern I have is that there are layers evident from the 3D printing in some photos. Hopefully Peter's changes to the printing process will help, but is there any other way of eliminating these? Sanding? Thanks Pete Yes, this print is for testing purposes. Peter stated that the final production would be different. 5 hours ago, orion2 said: Beautiful work...are the u/c legs one-piece parts ? Tolga ULGUR Posted March 22 Author Posted March 22 I am still waiting for the decals. Turkish Customs tripped me . Customs confiscated the customized code letter decals So, a small upate for today HB252, Greg W, Fanes and 22 others 25

That's a lot of money, but I can assure you not only is it expensive to produce in volume, but each part, let alone kit is personally curated to be the best I can do and that takes a lot of time. I don't have designers, production staff, logistics, packers, printers, I just have me, so if you want a 1/32 Defiant and you can afford one, buy one, if you can't, I can do no more than apologise for teasing you TTFN Peter Hi Peter, I will admit I can’t help thinking you would have sold five times as many kits if the price was say £150? But then again I guess it’s probably costing you north of £200 to make, and God knows how many hours you have put into it, so maybe that was never a realistic prospect? I’m sure the initial run will sell out and if that means you get funds (and experience) that help you in future projects, then it’s still all good. I wonder whether initial buyers might be like YouTube patreons etc, and maybe have some privilege or discount on future projects? I can’t participate at £295 btw so this is not me angling for future freebies News of the project is now starting to percolate outside of LSP btw - lots of excitement! Wishing you all the best with this and future projects Nick MikeC and Martinnfb 2
thierry laurent Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Indeed, looking at the price of other 3d printed kits (Lukgraph, Halberd or Jetmads) and the size of the plane, I also thought the price would be around 200£. Martinnfb and nmayhew 2
Pete Roberts Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Price sounds more than reasonable to me, especially given all the work and expense of development, let alone production, the latter including IM canopies and two forms of markings, mask and decals as well as all that printing. Personally, I'm surprised that it is so low. geedubelyer, Martinnfb, IainM and 1 other 4

One thing I'm sure of is that Peter will guarantee a perfect printing and this is something some others don't do. geedubelyer and Martinnfb 2
Kagemusha Posted March 25 Posted March 25 In fairness, Peter is producing the kit on his own, economies of scale and all that jazz funk thang. Martinnfb and Derek B 2
Tolga ULGUR Posted March 25 Author Posted March 25 The lack of decals stopped me. Progress is very slow, even non-existent. For today I can share a few pictures that show that the propeller is ready. The rest is a mystery Borsos, geedubelyer, Kagemusha and 15 others 18
