Having looked at the rest of the Britmodeller thread showing the rest of parts in the kit   I was more than a little disappointed. They reminded me of a resin garage kit from the early 2000s, including  Vac formed canopy's. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the kits from Jetmads, but for 337 Euros, I really would have expected something a little sharper.

1/32 - SEPECAT Jaguar resin kits by Profil24-Models - test models+parts - release in August-September 2025 - The Rumourmonger - Britmodeller.com

Perhaps I've been spoiled by some of the 3D printed  now available , but I rather think I'll be holding on to my money this time.

Comments Gemtelmen.. as I alone in feeling this ?

Seconded. I don't think it quality matches its price tag. A direct comparison would be the LEM kits Su-17/22 which is similar in terms of build & material and significantly cheaper.

Are there any engine intake tunnels with this ?

Unfortunately not. I will scratchbuild something to mitigate the issue, as to build it as is, the intakes come to a dead end at about 20mm deep. I doubt I will go all the way to where the first compressor blades are though.

The rear fuselage under the fin shows he same squshed pancake look the original Airfix 1990s 1/48 kit suffered from, since corrected in their 2024 new tool.

It does indeed. It appears to not be 'rounded' high enough and slightly too wide aft of the two outlets and the base at the front of the fin. Not much of a job to remedy if desired.

Hi All

to get the thing a bit more sexy, I only continued with Tamiya panel line and wiped it off, parts are untouch from delivery, I believe I can say that Profil24 has made a lot of effort on the panels, This is very acceptable and the result is very nice.

Thanks Rob

Things are starting off rather well.

Absolutely. The issues are few and easily dealt with.

Sadly, I can't do any more to it over the weekend. 😐
