Ali62 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) Coming soon, it may even interest a few of you guys...........scale dependent 😉 Edited February 24 by Ali62 change title Stevepd, Derek B, BiggTim and 5 others 8
Ali62 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 Hi Guys I can confirm that this will appear in 1/32 scale along with the little guys in 1/48 and 1/72. I shall post more information on here in the next day or so, but there is quite a lot more information and pictures on my Facebook page, look up Aerocraft Models on Facebook. Derek B and firefly7 2
Ali62 Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Some picture for those that do not go to Facebook. The kit will be 3D printed, with clear cast resin canopy, decals and masks. As shown the kit has 27 parts but I shall offer spares for pitot an control column. There will be the option to have printed on details on the seat (seat straps) and the instrument panel, of have them plain, so you can add your own. I still need to make a few design changes and printing supports, and sort the clear parts and get the decals sorted. Price to be finalized soon, and ordering details will follow, all will be through my website as usual. Shown below is a prototype build. LSP_Kevin, Shoggz, LSP_K2 and 6 others 9
Hans Posted February 6 Posted February 6 It sure does look cool Ali, the British aircraft destined to break the sound barrier...
thierry laurent Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Interesting!!! Ali, for the seat option without the belts, it would be interesting to give the separate buckles. This would help noticeably.🙂

I do not have the skill and equipment to match the aftermarket seat straps so this offers the best of both worlds as such Derek B 1
thierry laurent Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Ali, you did not understand. The modeller would have to add foil strips matching your buckles. The problem I'm seeing is the fact I do not think there is one available British postwar seat belt set.

I suppose it is like Marmite / Bovril then you either like it or you do not. I do not like Marmite, but I do like the M.52. I am also fascinated with the aircraft that Miles did and developed, many did not get major recognition or production, but still interesting aircraft and history. On the other hand you have all the Luftwaffe 46 projects that were paper projects or at best mock ups in wood, so this is just something similar but we will never know it may have broken the sound barrier. Some extraordinary designs from those drawing boards!
firefly7 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) Very much looking forward to buying this kit Ali, great choice. In 1/32 of course. 👍 Cheers. Edited February 13 by firefly7
Ali62 Posted February 23 Author Posted February 23 (edited) update for today Hi Guys Just a small update on the Miles M.52 kit in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 scales. Not long to wait until the launch and price details are made, hopefully tomorrow the 24/02/25, I just need to confirm a few price details to enable me to finalize the pricing. In the meantime here is some artwork that Luca Landino has graciously done for me via commission, I am sure you will agree it is stunning and very atmospheric. Also shown is the typical decal layout, with four possible airframe numbers. There is an alternative scheme that will be shown on the final release. However there could be a few options possible to those with imagination and flair. Edited February 23 by Ali62 Shoggz, LSP_Kevin and Derek B 3
