This looks to be OOB no Quintas available that will be fine by me.The George always had that look of the P-47 for the Japanese version so nice and bulky their will be some weathering just not a load of chipping like the other Japanese AC pics do not show a whole alot from what I have seen....but prove me wrong?Work may commence this evening for sure tomorrow.;)

Got started tonight fellas this one goes together a bit different many little sub-assemblies can be put together.I got most of the primary color laid down fore the copit letting it dry well overnight so moved onto parts of the bigger picture. The fuselage went together like I was building a ship very strong and stout then the tail with it's tail;planes and lastly the landing flaps were assembled.I will start and most likely finish the pit tomorrow.;)

I have gotten a the copit just about finished only thing left now is the bottles behind the seat. The two yellow handles on top of the main control are PE from a 1/48 kit with white glue then painted. The AC on display here in the US shows two red and three yellows bent inward.I have AM seatbelts in the stash/wall just need to locate.;)

This has been moving slower than expected on my part being the kit fits so well together. The belts from RB were lets say a bit of a challenge or maybe I been spoiled by Quintas?I spent three nights doing these belts one night just walking away....The pics I wish I would of looked at one last time before assembly being a little fuzzy. The wing is glued, canopies masked and working the LG's now.I am hoping things start moving a little bit quicker.;)

Well I got some paint laid down tonight JN Green Tamiya Acrylics over AlClad Silver 101 on the whole plane.I was spraying the Future straight was pooling up on the forks I was kinda hmmmn?I usually find that being the mixture to thick so I added alcohol turned cloudy Nope out it goes.I then added MrColor Leveling thinner stayed clear and what a difference and it dried to the touch so fast. The P-47 just to show the George was about 85/90% that of a P-47!;)

While I wait for the glue on those Tamiya decals release in the water for the F84g I started chipping on the George .I scrap lightly with the knife in different directions esp. where the pilot would get in thought the color looked to grey(scrapping to deep) brought out the silver pencil got the same exact look so scrapping it is.;)

The George is slowly getting to the finish line also when things hold up on another build I p/u the George and Xato w/#11 blade and start chipping.I feel at times mono(r/side looks better to me) but I have looked at quite a few pics of these birds and the chipping was minimum and around panels.:hmmm:
