LSP_Mike Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Didn't see them. Trumpy has released a Tiger I, interior, and now 2 more off the Pz IV chassis. As always, impressive, depending. Ryan 1
LSP_Ray Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Saw that. Also, in the same booth a 1/16 Panzer IIIN. Probably to be expected. Ryan and LSP_K2 2
LSP_Mike Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Getting harder to resist the 1/16th armor. In an attempt to control my stash, I sold 60+ armor kits, over the last few years. I did keep my 1/25 Tiger I, and Centurion (with Mouse House MkV conversion), as well as my 1/24th Bandai Kingtiger, Panther, Jagdpanther, all interior kits. Some of this new 1/16 is very tempting though. Ryan 1
RNoAF Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Im going to buy the Nahorn! Very cool!! Did Takom release any kits in 1/16? Ryan 1
LSP_Ray Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Takom/Das Werk: Leopard A7V, PaK 40 75mm AT Ryan and LSP_K2 2

Ditto - always liked the look of the Nashorn with its longer barrel. I am pretty sure that we can expect a complete new and super detailed "gun assembly" from AFV Modeller (even though it will likely cost more than the kit itself ) - and I already know I am going to paint it in a Disc Camo version Time to start looking for that new house I guess... I like both, and I hope a Wespe will follow.

These weathering masterpieces are awesome The armor model builders in my club show interest and a bit of drool over 1/16 scale kits. The cost and large size makes the scale a no go. Even the Panzer I size is too big. Onward 1/35 scale.
LSP_Ray Posted February 3 Posted February 3 You will never kill 1/35th scale. I love working in 1/16th, but if you want a multi-vehicle diorama, 1/16th is just too big except for the smallest vehicles. So, from now on, dioramas in 1/35th, single vehicles in 1/16th for me. scvrobeson, Iain, LSP_K2 and 2 others 5
LSP_Ron Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I only have one 1/16 kit, a Tamiya R/C Sherman. 1/16 is just too big.
