Tecnikit Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) In February we will launch the MATRA R530’s ventral launcher with the fairings removed so that the pod can be attached to the fuselage by the ground crew. The MATRA R530 is lying in its installation cart. The cart can be mounted with or without the upper lock which is disassembled at the moment just before the missile is assembled. You can choose between the infrared version seen in the illustration, or the radar version with opaque cone and slightly longer. The work includes a well-worked finished details and riveting, and decals for all the pieces. The other version consists of the missile already installed and with the pod’s aerodynamic fairings already closed. Again, you can choose between the radar or infrared version. In weeks... the GROUND POWER GENERATOR TRAILER. https://www.tecnikit.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=page&id=31&language=en Edited January 27 by Tecnikit ColinR, rafju, Kagemusha and 1 other 4

Thanks MB Yesterday it came out of the first tests. Several changes have to be made including a longer head which when made separately was out of scale. 15 hours for print it !!! That is the price of the HQ prints. As you can see it has a very smooth surface characteristic of 3D SLAs. No false software blurring to mask step failures. Nothing changed or sanded after take off from the printer. With a glossy white lacquer, a black wash to mark the screw holes and decals, it will looks amazing. Yes, it could be done without great problem for the Crusader. On the sides of the fuselage. Changing the launchers. At the moment we are finishing the Mirage IIIE monograph, are about to finish the J-58 print tests and have to start a short F-104A monograph. But as always, though, if anyone is strongly interested, must know we'll get the job queued up right away. Javier Edited Monday at 05:36 PM by Tecnikit Marcel111 and rafju 2
orion2 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I would be really interested, but as my kit is very far from receiving any ordnance, I'll wait and see when it happens. Thanks MarcB

Thanks MarcB When you buy the plane, remember to visit this page. There we explain how to push a project. https://www.tecnikit.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=page&id=30&language=en When someone wants something very specific, the way to push the idea is to confirm the interest by paying a deposit to confirm the buy. And in return we offer a discount for sponsoring the idea. We get a lot of ideas and we really appreciate it. Many of our projects are user ideas. But we prefer the client's commitment, since every new project is an adventure, and the commitment to pay, even if it is very small, implies a committed interest. You may be interested to know that MATRA R530s belong to the cold war era when valves were still used in their electronics. So the Crusader strikes when landing on aircraft carriers caused these missiles to have a relatively short life. The Crusader is one of my favorite aircrafts. But I think there are already many detailsets, so I didn't think of doing a monograph. However it could be reviewed if the existing ones can be expanded or improved. Let's see if with time I can take a look. Thanks for your interest Marc.
