somebody Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Does anyone here have experience with the kits world 3D printed decals? I have used quinta & redfox but never used kits world stuff before. I find the quinta quality is better than the redfox while slightly more expensive. just wondering where the "new" brand fits in.
John1 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I used them on my A-4 build. Decals are “ok”. Not as finely detailed as Quinta (but it also seems that Quinta has been declining lately) but they went down nicely. Average product.
Javlin1 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I hated them stay with Quinta I got some for a 1/48 B-25poor registration and placement no directions.I know a member Jeroen got two sets for his kit both with the same issue poor lens cover and bad registration he went Quintas also. Daniel Leduc 1
Stevepd Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I've used KitsWorld decals on one kit and they were horrendous. I contacted them to offer where they'd got it wrong and I've had no reply. Don't buy them anything else would be better. somebody 1
BloorwestSiR Posted January 9 Posted January 9 The details are not as crisp, I also found them to be softer, more rubbery than Quinta or Red Fox. I only used the one set and it was to augment the Teknics resin cockpit in my Tamiya F-14. So in this case, it was fine for the purpose. But yeah, the other companies are better products. somebody Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 Thank you for the feedback. I have 1/48 & 1/32 f-16 sets coming. I'll try to post pics. & share the quality. extra $$ but should be better than my detail painting skill. don't want to make mess out of nice kits
Daniel Leduc Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Just received a set for my Tamiya Tomcat, frankly, the 3D is a joke, the relief are as flat as an Eduard PE..... Should have gone with Quinta at first . Dan.

Just put everyone off you know in your circles and word will spread. I read yesterday, elsewhere that even the 1/48 stuff for the new Airfix Jag is equally crappy. Daniel Leduc 1
Confusionreigns178 Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I'm sorry, folks, but the supplied F-14 cockpit photos look pretty darned good to me. Are these sets really as "flat" as Eduard PE? They appear quite non-flat in the images. Other users experience might well differ, of course. Cheers. Chris.
Daniel Leduc Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) Ok guys, finally had time to take some picture to compare with a Red Fox EF2000.... I really fail to see the 3D in that picture..... Pretty easy to compare from this angle. And the Red Fox Eurofighter... THAT'S 3D. So if Kits World identifies this set as 3D, they would be good for them to redo their homewo, cause that ain't 3D, Unless, someone sold me a conterfit.....🤔 Dan. Stevepd Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Well the only thing raised there will be your eyebrows!. They really are appalling. If you try to contact them you won't get a reply
Daniel Leduc Posted April 23 Posted April 23 (edited) Did contacted the seller and he agreed for a refund, lucky me.... But be warned, what you'll get with Kits World is nothing close to Kelik, Quinta or Red Fox. Dan. Edited April 23 by Daniel Leduc Stevepd 1
