Curious if you were gonna get any of the new Infinity 2024 titanium 2n1 airbrushes and if you had any idea when they'd show up?

I've seen some reviews, so I assume a small run made it into the public's hands, but I'm guessing the titanium nozzles are challenging to produce at scale...

Hey Chris,

I will be getting them in but H-S has been slow on delivering to we dealers.

I've tried one of the new Infinities and it's a nice brush to be sure.

That said, I prefer the new Evolution-2024 hands down:)

Thanks for the question!

Best,

Thanks, John. The seals I ordered arrived today, thank you!  I'm refurbing an original non chrome Infinity (although it's new enough to already have the ptfe seals. Whoever had it claimed one use, but it must've been a hard use. Paint got beyond the nozzle seal and must've been partially clogging the air passage, cause the airflow was really low. Idk, maybe he took the nozzle out while there was paint in the cup?  Bent needle, crummy o rings, etc, hence the seals and now the bigger order I place last night.

I stripped it completely and ran the body thru my lab style ultra sonic at about 75*c in just water and a drop of dish soap. Some stuff did come out and it helped the airflow a ton. With the nozzle on, it still has less air volume than I'm used to compared it to my Iwata Eclipse workhorse. Idk if that's normal. I get good pressure thru the valve and body now.

I don't have much experience with the H-S stuff. I've tried different brushes and always end up back to Iwata, with a clutch of HP-CSs  (0.35 and 0.5mm converted) and an HP-C+.

I figured this would be a cheaper way to get into an Infinity for detail work, but with all the spare parts and replacing bad parts, I should've just got a new Infinity CR+.

I'd still like to add the 2024. I suppose there's no rush. But it may be redundant once I have a decent working regular Infinity. Even with the wonky needle, I can paint lines that look like a pencil did it.

Sorry for the wordy post... Excited for my new toy, like rebuilding an abused old car. I'll have to look at the Evo-2024
