Hello gents, Would you guys recommend a transparent resin for SLA printing?

I need to make a few light bulbs and in the long term I want to fix canopies as well

Any advice welcome

Thanks

Anycubic clear printing resin is supposed to be decent but be forewarned that any clear resin print will require post cure processing to make it suitable for canopies etc.  I believe there’s at least one video on how to get the best clarity out of the print.

This stuff - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C8NTLYKB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1. Pretty good results, but you'll have to do some research on printer settings. Way different than standard or high speed resin.

Just about to try printing some clear 'jump lights' for my Andover model - have a bottle of Anycubic Clear sat ready to go.

I'm expecting some post-print work to get the clarity/shine I'm looking for.

Yes, it will definitely require that for sure, as the final rinsed product will be matte. You might try painting a thin coat of liquid resin over it and cure it again. This usually makes it very shiny and clear, but it might require a couple applications, as you don't want to put it on very heavy.
