I am really, genuinely happy for you guys. It is nice to see the holy grail kind of kit finally landing on your benches.  Can not wait to see the next beaut coming out of Peter's magic factory.

:party0023:

Cheers

thank you everyone :)

it has been a real blast seeing the kit out in the wild and Nigel certainly seemed to like it :) also had lots of enquiries about it so hopefully it sells in enough numbers to pay back the time and investment which is pretty substantial

the clear parts are due to be sent on Monday, so shouldn't be long before I can start the countdown

Just so irritating that he won't accept pre-orders

Understood, but I have to be sure everything is in order before I take cash and put my name on it :) It won't be long, and while it is possible there will be competition to get one, I consider that a nice problem to have :)

hehe - I am about two thirds the way through it and will announce it once the test prints convince me it can be done. it is not as straightforward as the Defiant :)

Thanks again all for all your encouragement and support guys, I am thrilled I actually got to realise a dream and make my own kit - who knows where it will all lead :)

That's brilliant Peter.

A massive congratulations for getting your baby to market (nearly )

Nine days notice should be enough for anyone to prepare.

Time can be set aside to sit poised, finger hovering over the "buy" button.

It may mean an earlyish start for some antipodean customers but worth it I'll warrant.

Let us know how everything goes please.

So, does that mean nine days until you announce your next project? :hmmm:

I imagine those who have the pre-production prototypes have been busting a gut to let the cat out of the bag

You have clearly chosen wisely.

Well, God willing, Mrs Shoggz and I will be on a big metal bird on the way to Greece when the kit is released, which is probably a good thing, as the one I would have bought will go to someone who will do a better job than I could!

Perhaps there will be future releases Richard?

Different markings maybe?

Other manufacturers manage to make their products go a long way. :D

I'm confident you'll make a fine job of it when you get one. :clap2:

Regardless of my circumstances, I’m really looking forward to see what all you fabulous modellers do with the kit.

This could be like a Ticketmaster disaster as LSP members crash Peters Airscale site. Then we have to wait to see if we were successful in securing an amazing model hours later.

Good luck everyone who is hoping to purchase one.

Regards. Andy
