Iain Posted May 6 Posted May 6 They do look rather good Peter - and commendably thin... Quite something to be able to include injected parts of that quality in a low volume kit!! Iain airscale, Martinnfb and Derek B 3

I am thrilled that your supplier has translated your work into those apparently superb parts. This whole project continues to impress. You're setting the bar very high. airscale, Derek B and Martinnfb 3

The vacuform part I had was not suitable. So I left it in the closed position. Derek B, airscale and Martinnfb 3

JayW Posted May 7 Posted May 7 The transparencies are just amazing Peter - you just have to be feeling sky high. Martinnfb 1
mozart Posted May 9 Posted May 9 (edited) And now that the transparencies are available, I can finalise their masks! The turret ones were challenging to design and, due to the number of “side cuts” that I had to introduce in order to get the curvature, it might be advisable to put a few blobs of maskol or similar over the cuts prior to painting. I have hopefully laid them out in “an intuitive” way so that it is self-evident where they fit: After many trial fits and tweaks, all is ready for painting: And done: A bit of careless overspray on the inside of the main canopy to be cleared up, but as Peter said, the transparencies are very good. A separate mask will also be provided for the interior green internal frames of the pilot’s canopy only. Edited May 9 by mozart mc65, geedubelyer, Trak-Tor and 14 others 17
