They do look rather good Peter - and commendably thin...

Quite something to be able to include injected parts of that quality in a low volume kit!!

I am beyond happy - this has always been the biggest worry - now its a production order and the kit will be available in the next few weeks :)

..now to see if they all fit as they should 😎

Testament to your design skills Peter.

I am thrilled that your supplier has translated your work into those apparently superb parts.

This whole project continues to impress. :clap2:

You're setting the bar very high. :coolio:

They look excellent Peter :clap2:

Is the sliding part suitable for the open position? The vacuform part I had was not suitable. So I left it in the closed position.

And now that the transparencies are available, I can finalise their masks! The turret ones were challenging to design and, due to the number of “side cuts” that I had to introduce in order to get the curvature, it might be advisable to put a few blobs of maskol or similar over the cuts prior to painting. I have hopefully laid them out in “an intuitive” way so that it is self-evident where they fit:

After many trial fits and tweaks, all is ready for painting:

And done:

A bit of careless overspray on the inside of the main canopy to be cleared up, but as Peter said, the transparencies are very good.  A separate mask will also be provided for the interior green internal frames of the pilot’s canopy only.
