periklis_sale Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 After the removal of the film can we still use any decal solution?

I don't think it will be needed because by that time the decal will be dry anyway; the decals are so thin that I didn't use any decal solution on my Lightning stencils. Just be sure that the decals are put on a glossy surface, so that all pigments stick to the surface. Otherwise, the pigments not in contact with the surface will be lifted away when the support film is removed. MB

Thanks, Rob We sell directly and through our dealers. Check our BUY page on our site. But shipping to USA is closed now from Serbia and many dealers have troubles with shipping to USA. Our sealer in Kazakhstan is sending to USA now, it's eBay dealer Legand29.

Tony T Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 (edited) Very interested in both the Saudi F.53 and RAF 74 Sqn F.6 decals, and Tornado F.3 Falklands 1435 Flight markings. However, maybe I'm thick but I find the statement Attention! Use NOT water-resistant glue with declared information "transparent after dry". ambiguous. You mean use water-soluble PVA glue, like woodworking glue, which does dry transparent ? Please clarify. Thanks Tony Edited October 30, 2025 by Tony T autospell fudge-up

You mean use water-soluble PVA glue, like woodworking glue, which does dry transparent ? Please clarify. Thanks Tony There are 3 types of PVA glue: - old cheap glue from my childhood. :))) It had a slightly yellow tone after several years. It isn't a problem because it is placed between the model surface and printed elements. But it's better to use current produced PVA glue. - PVA expensive glue with markings "water resistant". It means that it will be so different to remove the glue after drying. Modellers do not need the option because the last study is to remove the glue shadows. I think that glue is possible to use but it's an additional not predictable question. - common PVA glue without "water resistant" marking and with "transparent after dry" marking. I recommend the type, no problem with removing the glue shadows. Yes, it's woodworking glue. Tony T 1
