Referring to the mistake people make when they say the problem with the Whirlwind were the Peregrine engines.

Seemed funny to place two engines/motors under it’s wings. These Nortons were used by the RAF to get around, so seems appropriate.

 

Oh boy..those bikes...yaih o like that extra in a goodie bag.

Aaaaaaaalmost. Just need to add antenna wires, flap weights, ladder and some other small details. The vac form canopy fits nicely.

Wow!  Top shelf build if there ever was one, really excellent work Jeroen!  The camo and weathering of it are extremely well done and the motorcycles mesh very well with it.  I like your innovative base as well!

Installed the hatches on the gun camera and the flap tabs. Also doing some more wear and tear to the underside.

I can’t believe it, but i think it’s done!

I’ll have a once go-over tomorrow and do proper pics. Last line of order were the scratched delicate wingtip navigation lights.
