Hi folks,

We are close to 2025 and Trumpeter/Hobby boss will soon release a new catalogue. Based on what they released in the prior years as well as what arrived in the smaller scales I'm guessing they will announce a 1/32 Grumman Prowler. Any other logical assumption?

Cheers

That was my thought, an EA-6B Prowler to go with the forthcoming S-3 Viking, and it would be very impressive (even if recycling too many Intruder parts which aren't quite right for the four-holer. But I could happily cope with that).

Many are still waiting for an F-106A Delta Dart that seemed to be a natural candidate based on its "very acceptable" 1:48 scale offering, but Trumpeter seem to be "twinning" 1:72 and 1:32 efforts.

Would love an F-84F Thunderstreak from Hobby Boss, but that's just a dream without any sol8d foundations.

What I dread is them tackling a lovely subject horribly, like a very wonky Mosquito. Or a goofy F-16. But I'd love it if TanModel sold its Su-33 Sea Flanker tooling to Trumpeter. Unlikely, but not impossible.

Just my 2p's worth,

I built their -106B and I have to agree ,pretty darn nice kit. I did mine in the 87th F.I.S. Red Bulls marking out of K.I.Sawyer AFB,in the same tail number that I rode in. Roger that on the F-84F ,hey maybe we'll get a surprise one of these days. Never say never, ever. I agree leave the Mossies alone, ,remember the Sea hornet and the Spiteful? Yeoooww!

A little sieways drift, but an early/late USS California in 1/350 would be great.

I 1/32, a kit they could do well with: Beaufighter TFX, or maybe an A-37.

A 1/48 MTB, PT, would be a good size.
