hworth18 Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Why can't people just be appreciative that we have another 1/32 player in the market? So what if they're not making something that everyone would choose for their first release? People would certainly gripe if it were another P-51 or Bf109 for sure, "Oh god, not another Mustang".... NewtonK Posted December 3, 2024 Author Posted December 3, 2024 And, if all those kits that are wished for were released, who could buy them all? And build them? Archimedes 1

Tony T Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 What's wrong with a fleet of captured yellow & green mottled Hellcats and Mustangs based on the Trumpeter kits? Just as plausible. Right scale, just as accurate, just as probable. T CRAZY IVAN5 1
thierry laurent Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 I think it is somewhat legitimate for some people to be frustrated as we are in a niche market in which we do not get dozens of new models yearly. Look at 1/35th kits. There is no more similar reaction towards the 1946 paper panzer. I think this is because close to all 'mainstream' topics are covered and sometimes you have the choice between 5 or 6 similar kits! So, modellers do not feel the release of another paper panzer as a 'missed opportunity' or a 'waste of rare resources'. In LSP this is clearly different. Some mainstream topics have not yet been covered after more than half-a-century of releases! I think this explains that. I don't think it is not reasonable to question the need to have two kits of a Horten prototype that never flew when none of the mythical late war two-engines Luftwaffe nightfighters has ever been released as a plastic kit! Martinnfb Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Amazing pricing. When I looked at those links I misread PREORDER as a PERHORDER, stunted myself at the spot. BloorwestSiR 1

I'll wait and see how good the instructions are, along with the fit. THEN maybe. It is a good price especially in this day and age. Martinnfb and BloorwestSiR 2
AngryJazz_Models Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Great news! Looks like my bet on the price was pretty close 😁 Im definitely putting in a preorder when it's available in EU! Now we can start to wonder what's next from Takom Wings. I would not be surprised if it was a Luft46 project. They have been quite fond of German paper projects in their tank catalog.
