What's wrong with a fleet of captured yellow & green mottled Hellcats and Mustangs based on the Trumpeter kits? Just as plausible. Right scale, just as accurate, just as probable.

I think it is somewhat legitimate for some people to be frustrated as we are in a niche market in which we do not get dozens of new models yearly. Look at 1/35th kits. There is no more similar reaction towards the 1946 paper panzer. I think this is because close to all 'mainstream' topics are covered and sometimes you have the choice between 5 or 6 similar kits! So, modellers do not feel the release of another paper panzer as a 'missed opportunity' or a 'waste of rare resources'. In LSP this is clearly different. Some mainstream topics have not yet been covered after more than half-a-century of releases! I think this explains that. I don't think it is not reasonable to question the need to have two kits of a Horten prototype that never flew when none of the mythical late war two-engines Luftwaffe nightfighters has ever been released as a plastic kit!

Well, that certainly under cuts the Z-M kit. I'll wait and see how good the instructions are, along with the fit. THEN maybe. It is a good price especially in this day and age.
