With the C’s being retired and their new radars, I read the the E’s are often being tasked for A2A roles nowadays.

No ECM pod, thought that was standard for deployed jets?

just type in F-16, or whichever aircraft in the Search to get a whole lot of images. As for lack of ECM pod, no air to ground threat at the time so no need to carry them but they probably have them just in case.

Great shot Jari. Thanks for sharing. 

Check out the asymmetrical position of the intake ramps and the uneven wear on their leading edges. That would make a neat touch to the weathering of a model. I like the irony of the fact the wear is over the "No Step" cautions 

 

Do you know what "You'll float too" on the speedbrake refers to?

I also thing the loadout is interesting - AIM-9X x 3, AIM-120 on both the pylon and fuselage station. Assuming it's for anti-Drone operations.
