I get claustrophobic just looking at those pictures. Probably would have been about right when I was twelve. Why did everything around me start shrinking so much after that?!

Don't feel like the "Lone Ranger" ,brother! I know exactly what you're talking about, I didn't used to be claustrophobic but I am now, can't get me in an MRI machine at all, start to get the jitters as soon as they slide me in ! i used to be stuck in every nook and crannie in a B-52 [ including the wing fuel tanks with no issues . Now??? Fergit about it.

LFD’s splendid looking Vc conversion is supposed to hit the street this week.  Just sayin’….

Indeed but you really need to be in a hurry as with the Tamiya kit and aftermarket decals you will reach an amount that is around the double of the price of any Kotare Spitfire...

Maybe not completly true...  The Tamiya IX can be found for pretty short money these days.  I purchased the kit for around $68USD a year or so ago.   The other part to consider is how long it will take for these guys to release a Vc.    They've been taking ages on their 109K and it still doesn't seem to be anywhere close to release.   The other thing is that since Kotare seems to be milking their molds for are they are worth; I wouldn't be surprised if they release a standard Vc and then make you wait another 6 months or year (or forever) for a tropical version.     As far as factoring in the cost of aftermarket decals into the equation, to me that's a wash since I always use aftermaket decals on any kit I build.   All comes down to how badly you want to build a Vc I suppose.
