Checked in here after a year or so and read the top line.

Happy Happy Joy Joy, ordered and the email arrived within minutes.

Just opening my banking app away from a 1:32 Fouga Magister 🙂

why infamous?

MT-35 is one of a kind.

It was the only camouflaged Fouga Magister in the BAF at the sole (non-authorized!) initiative of chief warrant officer Hubert Sermon.

The Fouga belonged to the 3rd Tactical Wing in Bierset and was painted in the same camo SEA pattern and paints used on the BAF Mirage 5.

Just out of the paint shop in 1983

See how effective was the camouflage over the Belgian landscape.

Notice how the camo extended on the underside of the butterfly tail

Years later, MT-35 reverted to its original silver livery and became ‘The Last Of The Many’, the last operational Fouga in the BAF in 2007.

Now you know:P

Ready and waiting for mister postman

It's a nice coincidence that one of the Group Builds being bruited about for next year is "aircraft with two seats."

Great news and also kudos for such perseverence, I must admit my hopes had gone off at some point! I'm definitely in for such a great project at such reasonable price!

Thanks Daco!!

This looks like a great kit with heaps of subjects to choose from.

Sadly for me I've blown my budget on recent splurges so will have to watch everyone else enjoy this when it becomes available.

Have fun folks.

Please, do not forget Radu´s wonderful FM booklet and the Irish Air Corps!

They are good books but the best source is actually that one:

https://www.avions-bateaux.com/produit/profils-avions/4430

This covers all users in close to 500 pages even if the main part is obviously dedicated to the French air force. If you specifically want a Belgian, Irish or German plane, there are dedicated books as shown hereabove. If you're looking for a walk around book, try to get that one:
