C’est magnifique Max!

Great model, great figure with such a dynamic pose. It perfectly represents that period of British aviation.

Thanks Alain, that Golden Era of the 1930s, halcyon days it seems though when you read about what and how it was taught, it was so flawed and based on so many wrong assumptions, without even mentioning the Old Boys club and the English class system! I must admit though that I get a little thrill when I look at the Fury!

Agreed, she’s a real “looker” Denis, which is why I have been so keen to do the model for so long!

I haven’t taken any pics recently of doing the small tedious bits like the aerial masts on the top wing and tail, the aileron actuators etc., but she’s nearly there with just a few touch ups to do tomorrow.

She's done with a few days to spare   As usual, not perfect but good enough:

Looking forward to getting on with a simpler build now, my 41 Squadron (Kotare) Spitfire flown by the same gentleman, Ted Shipman.

What a set of innings this has been…. Certainly knocked a few 6’s outa the park with this one.  It’s been a splendid epic journey watching this come together.

The thought just occurred to me how awesome it’d be to just sit back in a pub and have a brew toast to our efforts.  Well done ol chap …

A very nice build.  I like the differentiation in the silver finishes, juts as it should be.  Nice to see something a little different here too.

:goodjob:

Cheers,

Michael
