This is the airplane that supports my theory that if you built a runway that went all the way around the earth at the equator, someone would build an airplane that needed every inch of it

Evidently the writers of one of the Fast and Furious movies heard you. The chase scene at the end has them trying to:

1) get on a AN-225 lookalike

2) rescue the hostage

3) get off said AN-225

The whole time the plane is flying just above the runway.

The black/dark blue/whatever version is my favorite.  Not exactly sure why we bought them but they are nifty looking.

The B-57G was the designation assigned to sixteen B-57Bs modified as night intruders for use in Vietnam under a project known as Tropic Moonhttps://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_bombers/b57_9.html

Would you by chance be referring to the Patricia Lynn version? The G model was indeed part of the "Tropic Moon" version , after the 'Nam they ended up with the Kansas ANG. I'll just bet that if this sees the light of day ,it'll be expensive ,cool but expensive.

A b-57g would be fantastic........How hard would it be to make the B-57b nose......Yup i would be in provided I would not have to take out a loan to get one.

Rob, I would want one as well. Chad's designs are accurate and elegant. Since it is not my design I cannot say what may or may not happen. Stay tuned.

I was thinking more of the first B-57 I ever laid eyes on.  It was a simple B model I think, flown by the Kentucky Air National Guard and was painted either glossy black or very dark gloss blue with US Air Force and all the numbers and such in red. There were two taxiing out for a sortie.  I must have imprinted on them because that is my definition of a B-57.  I’ve seen all the other marks since, including the massive WB-57, but the early black ones are my favorites.  They don’t have tailhooks, but I could be persuaded to build one anyway.

I remember someone was scratch building a Canberra on here, but don't remember it ever being finished..

I'm by no means a post-war jet expert, but would it be possible to convert a Canberra to create a B-57?
