airscale Pro - Airfix 1/24 Spitfire Mk. VIII upgrades

Hi all,

 

Got my pre-order kit today, so finalised two of four planned upgrades for it

 

Cockpit details with the correction panel for the sidewall for this variant. the older voltage regulator behind the headrest and a refined Reflector Gunsight with mount - yours for £10.50

 

 

plus block tread tyres and refined hubs for main & tailwheels - yours for £9.75

 

 

a full PE upgrade like the Mk. IX one I did will be available in 6-8 weeks - like other AM folks, I don't get advance kits anymore from Airfix so need to wait for the decal & PE production, sorry about that . Also some HF extended wingtips will follow in the next week or so.

Can’t see it on the website, but is there a way to order all four (three in stock & the pre-order) & have them sent together? Trying to avoid two lots of international shipping & don’t want to miss out on any of the three MkVIII sets currently in stock.

So what color is that new box?  Photos of the Mk VIII Cockpit seem to be amazingly scarce (or maybe it's just me...).

Hi GMK - yes, you can buy all 4 and they will just ship when the PE set is available in a couple of weeks. Any order including a pre-order is held until the pre-order is available which is explained on the website but only on the PE set product page as that's the only one that's on pre-order at the moment

Just got my Airscale sets - the 1/24 Mk VIII cockpit PE and wheels.

 

Nice work, except the wheels have four-spoke hubs on both sides of the wheels, which as far as I can see, is not correct - ??? The inner hubs are relatively plain.
