Even after polishing. I find it the best way to hide micro-scratches that polishing leaves behind and protection against CA frosting is a nice benefit. Thank you Alan! BMF salmon!
Dpgsbody55 Posted September 13, 2025 Posted September 13, 2025 Very happy to see this one finished and looking so good. I'll be bookmarking this for my next Macchi. Cheers, Michael
LSP_Kevin Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 I'm pleased to report that John's terrific build is now available as an eBook from KLP Publishing: https://www.klp.com.au/product/building-the-italeri-mc-202-folgore-in-1-32-scale/ The book also features 27 pages of historical data and photos from Mark Proulx, which also includes a selection of photos of the restored airframe currently housed at NASM. Especially commissioned profile artwork is by James Bentley. And as a bonus, we’ve included a set of cut files for the paint masks that John used during his build. These are provided in DXF, Studio3 (for the Silhouette platform), PDF, and SVG formats. Kev chuck540z3, Rocat, Sam_D and 4 others 7
