I usually dip my canopy parts in Future.  Even after polishing.  I find it the best way to hide micro-scratches that polishing leaves behind and protection against CA frosting is a nice benefit.

I'm pleased to report that John's terrific build is now available as an eBook from KLP Publishing:

The book also features 27 pages of historical data and photos from Mark Proulx, which also includes a selection of photos of the restored airframe currently housed at NASM. Especially commissioned profile artwork is by James Bentley.

 

And as a bonus, we’ve included a set of cut files for the paint masks that John used during his build. These are provided in DXF, Studio3 (for the Silhouette platform), PDF, and SVG formats.
