Don't blame me! Maru is having a ton of problems posting pictures so I volunteered to post them. I can't post them all, so here is the link to my ImageShack folder where I mixed my pics and Maru's. Maru took a ton of video's but ImageShack doesn't support video... Sorry Maru! We were able to hang out with Radu (nicest guy ever!) and he was kind enough to sign the book of a modeler who did a really nice job with one of Radu's kits. I thought that was pretty cool. Speaking of who... The Three Musketeers!: Martin (left), Radu (center), Smitty44 (right) We know this guy (Smitty44): Look who Ernie/Clunkmeister made friends with: Martin (and my club member Jim Rotramel from the NovaIPMS club in the background). Maru was able to get this master modeler from ZM to sign the Mustang book. How come I didn't get one? If I remember correctly this is the gentleman who built the Horton 229. I had a good conversation in Omaha about that fantastic work which he had on display. ZM is definitely VERY active in supporting our hobby: For their raffle I think they gave away at least 25 items total (and had a room full of people!). I had to go back and buy one of their kits. I'm attending my first IPMS Nationals - some of our club members are going as well - but I'm sure folks from here are going too. Anybody want to meet up and say 'hi'? Got any tips about what to see, what to do, vendors to visit, etc? Chris
Here is a start from some of the pics I've taken so far. I'm just going to post - not much in the way of commentary. The 1:1 AC are from the SAC Museum. (Truly and amazing build - this this just incredible and I just can't take good enough pictures to show you). Not a huge fan of all the panel shading, but anyway...
