  1. Hi everyone just an update from me, as always email me at aimsmodels1@gmil.com if interested. 3. Hi all and a Happy New year to you all. Yes I am still alive although it was a rough 3 and a half weeks leading up to Christmas culminating in my spending 6 and a half hours in the Emergency department of the local hospital getting a CT scan of my Brain due to intense stabbing pains! Well two items of good news - 1. They found my brain, 2. no problems - turns out that the nausea, dizziness, headaches, diarrhea and then stabbing pains all down to one thing - reaction to a opiate based medication doctor had prescribed for my bad knee 4 weeks ago. I stopped taking it - no more symptoms! As for AIMS - well the wait for getting raw materials and lead times for parts other people do for me has gotten longer and longer due to pandemic but a number of items are ready now 32D025 Monotone Spitfires £11.00 24F001 RAF/FAA 1950's pilot £25.00 32F005 RAF/FAA 1950's pilot £16.00 32P023 Ju 88 A-1F/A-5 F Camera fairing £6.00 Coming soon.... 32PE017 External details for Roden SE.5a kit £TBC Bf 110 G-2/R1 (Feb/March? £TBC) Meng Fokker DR.1 replacement wings Many thanks, enjoy

  7. I've just spent the better part of two hours looking around on the web at figures. I looked at figures from Verlinden, Legend, Black Dog, CMK, Royal, and more. I saw figures depicted in every conceivable pose, position, situation, and activity from just sitting to getting their naughty on. Heck, I even found a vignette where a guy was taking a dump. Yes you read that right. Here is the URL if you wanna take a peek... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Verlinden-Productions-1-35-Things-to-Do-German-Soldiers-WWII-2-Figures-1472-/181133109531?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item2a2c5fe91b There were figures of guys and gals, adult and children, dogs and cats and chickens and cows and horses and camels. There were furniture items for the house and even a porta potty. But the guy mentioned above wasn't in it. All this to say, you can find any figure for any situation you might want to depict in a diorama, EXCEPT a US Navy carrier deck crewman. I know the PWMP stuff is still around, but why hasn't a mainstream figure company come up with a few? Women have only been in combat in the US military since the 90s but you sure can find female pilots! Navy deck crew have been around since Eugene Ely first came aboard. Verlinden even has a series of deck vehicles but no one to operate them. How many more WW2 German and American soldiers does the modeling world need? Ok, rant off. MM

    Master Box RAF Pilots

These are supposed to be "WW II era" but their equipment dates them to around 1940. Still, they're excellent figures with good sculpting and natural poses. I've named them (in order of apperance) Ginger, Johnny, Bob and Rusty.
