  1. Hi guys, I could've sworn there was a Tweak List for Tamiya's 1/32 Zero somewhere, at least for the A6M5. I can't seem to find it anywhere, though. Someone an idea where I might look? Thanks! Erik B.
  2. I was tinkering with the idea of trying to make the Tamiya A6M5 an A6M7. What all would I need for this conversion? I know I'd need wing tanks from some other model perhaps a Ki-61 Tony? A centerline bomb, which I have a spare from the Doyusha A6M2 Bakusen kit. What all will I need to do to the guns in the wings and possibly the cowling too? I may find this project too overwhelming and just say the heck with it, but I wanted to ask anyway. I'm thinking I want an A6M7 like Hasegawa makes in 1/48 scale with wing tanks and a centerline bomb. After that the challengebwill be markings. Cheers, Brady
  3. Tower Hobbies has the Tamiya Action Sound A6M5 on clearance sale for $255 shipped (in the US): http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LR2127 Using Ad number 011WE to get $25 off of the $270.22 price tag to brings it down to $245.22, and then adding the regular shipping fee of $9.99 gives you the to-your-door price of $255.21. Considering the MSRP for this kit is $512, it looks like a pretty good deal (if you're in the US and into Zeros). D Disclaimers: TO poster is not affiliated with Tower hobbies, just passing on what appears to be a pretty good deal. It is understood that those outside the US might not be able to participate in Tower's offer due to taxes, shipping costs and/or other issues in their home countries. There's no need to use this thread as a sounding board for those problems.
