Hello modeller friends, I’m building the Eduard Tempest and wants to represent it with the nose panels removed. I’m busting on the fuselage oil and fuel tanks in front of the windshield and would like to ask for your assistance to help me out. I’ve read that the tanks were self-sealing. A friend told me they were covered with rubber like on the Spitfire, but on the pictures they’re clearly metallic. Some photos also showed them painted in dark red colours like on the Hurricane. What’s the consensus about it? Thank you for your help. Cheers, Quang

We take a look at Special Hobby's recently released Tempest Mk.V "HI-TECH 2" kit, with it's top half rendition of the distinctive Napier Sabre engine. A great package, and excellent value in my opinion... Iain

Finally Just finished the 1/32 PCM Tempest...not going to do that again! That was a tough kit. All the parts were close but just enough wrong to make it a build. Yea...yea...yea...I know you are supposed to build these things and I am whining about doing some work... The resin doesn't fit, the cockpit isn't even close, the photo etch it too big, the gear needs help...waa, waa, waa. Shelf fodder.....
