If you've been waiting for decades for nice enamels of RLM 70 and 71 (like I have), the wait is over! Hubrol's newly released 241 (RLM 70) and 242 (RLM 71) are REALLY nice looking right out of the tin. Here's what they look like on a 21st Century Ju 87 Stuka that I just sprayed this morning: Just two minor gripes: 1) The tins are a PITA when it comes to transferring the paint to the airbrush jar. Permanantly transferring them to empty bottles will cure this issue. 2) They're kind of delicate when masking over them. Not nearly as bad as acrylics, but some care is required to avoid pulling the paint back off. Otherwise, they work great. I thinned them 50/50 with lacquer thinner (as usual) for airbrushing, and shot them on the same way I've always shot Model Master enamels. Their finish is dead flat, so a gloss clear coat before decals will be required. Just wanted to spread the good news for folks that have a stack of Luftwaffe bombers languishing in their stash because of the previous darth of good camo paints. D
