  1. Dear modeller friends, This morning Santa disguised as a Belgian postman deposited this parcel at my door. Keep in touch with the next episode for the unwrapping of the sprues and the usual stages of styrene fondling, surgical blade sharpening, etc. etc… Stay tuned, Cheers, Quang
  2. With the Malta Spit done its time for a new project. being like most of us on here deciding what to build next is as hard as the actual build! Anyway, I toyed with a new spit (haven't got all the bits yet) a bomber for Iron Rain GB (cant decide which one) a 109 nightfighter (cos you cant have enough 109's) and a Fw190 in a uber cool scheme I found online. But then this turned up on Thursday and that's sorted! Shouldn't be too long a build and I can aquire even more am for the others. Great box art, nice plastic and looking well detailed. So snips and glue out and we're away Engine Couple of hours work
  3. Great news: MiniArt, renown for well engineered, highly detailed and affordable military models in 1/35th scale announces a Flettner 282 V-21 Kolibri kit. Scale is 1/35. Well, it is a helo, kind of, so this fits with the general handling of helos by other manufacturers; but main reason is the option for the modellers to combine it with other military kits and gear. Kit number is 41003. Status is "In progress". This is earmarked as "interior kit" by MiniArt - so full engine and gear will be included. Given the great line of T-54 kits rolled out by MiniArt this one will become another wonderful kit. Regards - dutik
  4. This is my first build over here. I'm building a Fly 1/32 Hurricane MkIIb in Russia during the winter. Here's my reference pic. I have the Miniart refueller kit in 1/35 to add a bit more to the dio and as per the photo. I started with the cockpit framework and encountered a fair bit of seamlines that took quite some effort to clean up. Took about an hour to get to the first stage. PE was added Then the resin seat And a few more bits of PE and we're ready for some paint
