Hello everyone, I want to share with my build of an old and well-known Revell's model of B-17F. I decided to make the Memphis Belle variant (I know that it's a quite ordinary variant, but I want to make exactly this model). Here are the kit and some adds I started my build from the interior: made door, some holders for instruments and other devices

I've been working for quite a while on this nice old kit, I had it for like 8 years until I felt I was capable to pull a decent model out of it, I don't know if I was right or not, we'll see about that at the end. So far it's been lots of re-scribing, riveting, filling, sanding etc! but it's been fun so far, I added a couple of things here and there on the cockpit just to make it look a bit busier than it's displayed by the model itself, i've read this model has a lot of flaws but, for now, is not a major concern for me, and I'm not capable of correcting things for the moment, I haven't decided about the scheme but it will most likely be a what-if, since I haven't found an Electric Intruder that pleases me, but I've found lots of prowlers that do, so maybe I'll have a prowler's tail on this one, I dig the "banshees" tail! Here are some pics to show you the progress starting by the box Then most of it it's been re-scribed And the tools I used to get it done For the first time I tried to groove the tires to add a little bit of detail cause they were pretty simple Then I moved to the cockpit And "copied" Elmo's coaming, or at least I tried I'll post late some more pics of the progress but feel free to coment!
