  1. Great idea, but as iaf-man mentioned, some of us are a bit Neanderthal-ish when it comes to 3D printing ... so any help would be immensely appreciated!
  2. Alex, I think this might be a good seller, combined with a K conversion set
  3. Geez, that's not even remotely close ... way off.
  4. Interesting on the tip tanks ... do you have dimensions? Perhaps we could reach out to "K"?
  5. Shapeways offers the tanks in 1/32 ... search for T33. The props were from a DC-6, but no idea on radius.
  6. Agreed, a lot less than $500, unless somehow cast from unobtainium. There shouldn't be anything more than noted and I'd think it'd sell pretty well.
  7. Gentlemen, it's a hobby ... something we do because it's an enjoyable distraction ... something called "fun". Some of us are incredibly talented artists, others not in the same league, but both should be having fun ... otherwise why?
  8. True that ... and the K conversion would be the least of it. Still, the basic K parts wouldn't be that significant, new rudder, cowlings, engines, props, wheels and pylons. Oh well!
  9. While I know the Hobby boss Invader is replete with issues and problems, it's likely going to be the only injection kit for the foreseeable future. I've wanted to build a K for years, but has anyone heard whether anyone's got a conversion kit in the works?
  10. While I've attempted the obligatory Google searches, I've not been able to find any drawings of the MH47G or F. Can someone please suggest a resource? Thanks!
  11. The 1/32nd kit? I've seen them on preorder, but haven't seen them listed as in stock.
  12. Any idea when the HB Invader will be available? Which shops will be carrying it? Thanks!
  13. I assume that once this is all said and done ... it will have a spot at the RAF Museum? Unbelievable artistry.
  14. Ok, if memory serves, the K (On-Mark conversion) had a higher rudder, different engine scoop on the cowlings, C54 props, KC135 main gear wheel hubs, spar stiffening band on the wing top, armor on the cockpit sides, dual controls, antennas, weapons pylons, 8 gun nose ... it would absolutely rock in1/32nd!
