  1. I just checked the site; pretty cool stuff. Reminds me of Newegg. I'm not a gamer by any means, but I do like a PC that really performs well. To that end, I'll soon be upgrading my own PC from 32GB to 64GB of DDR4 RAM.
  2. Taking a bit of a shortcut here, I bought the RF "E" 'pit set, as it's more than close enough for me. I also grabbed some Gunze interior green, so perhaps tomorrow I can spritz the interior. Baby steps.
  3. I've decided to go with what I already have, so the seam in the intake is now smeared up with Vallejo putty.
  4. Indeed it does. Through no fault of the kit itself though, I finally realized that there is an additional ring that goes on the intake front, so rounding off the edges of the pieces above, was a mistake. I may steal the intake pieces from my E kit, as they are identical, and I really want this kit to turn out as good as I can make it, within reason.
  5. Kit bomb, 500 pounder, I assume. Or I may go with an Eduard 500 pounder or the kit fuel tank, still not sure yet.
  6. Intake pieces now assembled, but will need some minor putty work, so some wonderful Vallejo stuff will come to the rescue there. I'll also round off the intake lips, as per the real deal, which would have been much easier to do before assembling the top and bottom pieces together.
  7. I've intentionally kept quiet, as I seldom, if ever, enter GB's.
  8. MiG-25, but no kits, at least that I'm aware of.
  9. Happy B-Day(s), fellas!!!
  10. Port side exhaust area cleaned up pretty well, starboard side will unfortunately be a bit more of a hassle. I also think the light under the canopy area needs to go, but have not yet confirmed.
  11. 'Pit parts now all assembled. Rather oddly, there is no bulkhead forward of the rudder pedals and IP. Hopefully that won't be too noticeable.
  12. Lots of cool stuff here. The Havoc looks like a great kit. Thanks, Kev.
  13. Yea, that is rather odd, but apparently there was no natural seam anywhere near there, so they just stuck it in where they wanted.
  14. Do you know what scheme you'll be using from that kit? I rather fancy the shark mouth version, and have some decals (Zotz and fündekals) that I could trade. Thanks. I hope I don't disappoint.
  15. Inserts, all things considered, are at least OK fits, but I'll still lose some surface detail while cleaning these areas up.
  16. Plodding along oh so slowly. First order of business was assembly of major substructures. Main wheel wells gave me some trouble, but after some serious applications of liquid cement, clamping and sanding, finally provided a pretty good fit.
  17. Latest batch of review books from Casemate.
  18. When I do listen to music, and I don't always, I run a random play list on my PC or just listen to the radio.
  19. Yep, I watched more than one friend have to go that route. Looking forward to more of what you finally assemble for the article.
  20. This does look good. I have to wonder why Eduard ever discontinued theirs.
