I just took an easy way and cut the nose from the Hasegawa P-51D firewall forward and tacked it onto a Revell P-51B fuselage and wings.
 
 
then used various parts from the Hase D model and a JR Malcom hood and these after-market decals for Ding-Hao! Sanded the Hase spinner to blend into the Hase nose for a smoother look and came up with what looks to me a better P-51B MOH winner. (it took me a long time to find these decals and then Trumpeter comes out with a kit that uses the same markings. by the way i've seen photos of this aircraft with both types of canopies
 
I'm doing the same with another old P-51B and a monogram F-51D nose with the exhaust shrouds ground out so some moskit exhaust will show through for a "Shangri-La" P-51B.
 
I'm still working on that one as I am dropping the flaps, repositioning the rudder and elevators and fiddling with the moskit, and eduard details.

I finally have had some success in making the AT-4 antennas for the -2 conversion, so it is now almost complete. The last hurdle is taking photos for, and compiling, a good set of instructions, which I plan to do this weekend. I'll also cast up a half dozen sets and have them ready to go. I will post here when they are ready to ship out.

Actually I was asking because I was thinking of trading for 1/32nd our scale and wondered if it was worth the effort of listing it if I cant get
2-cents for it I might as well build it myself but I'm sure it would be onn the bottom of the pile. I know some LSP'ers prefer 1/24th aircraft and this one seemed to me pretty rare..... maybe not as rare as I thought.
 
I took 4 mediocre to crappy 1/32nd P-51's of various marks as stated above and though a tremendous amount of work got 2 decent (1 finished, one still on the bench out of them). And the Trump comes along and does a P-51B/C after all the dust had settled in my work area.
