To be honest , I've been looking for YEARS for such photos and there's just not much out there. The best that I've been able to find is the Kagero #79 , there are some pics of the interior but not too much, certainly none in color. There's some on the internet but they're of a  '"Jill"  ,how close that is to a "Kate" I don't know.

I really don’t know of cockpit photos, except for the aforementioned Kagero book. I guess I should start looking.
I doubt there are many, if any color photos; just because there aren’t many complete surviving Kates. The only one i know of is the salvaged remains of one on display at Pearl Harbor(?). 
HpH offers a very detailed 3d printed cockpit, one of which should be on its way to me. I don’t know what they used as to a source. I suspect they used original plans, but that is just an uninformed guess. As to colors, I’ll have to get my Kate kit and accessories to see if they offer any guidance on colors.

Yes. The change Thierry refers to was from the early style of dihedral tailplanes to late style dihedral tailplanes, NOT to dihedral tailplanes from the very early flat ones. 
 
The early dihedral tailplanes were first introduced with the Mk.VI.
 
The difference between early and late dihedral tailplanes:

In addition to the dihedral tailplanes, to get to a TF.X from the Revell Beaufighter involves a different main canopy, different observer's canopy, different exhausts and a host of other detail changes. Some of that stuff in included with the Revell/Lodella kit, but not all. 
 
Model Monkey makes a main cockpit, observer's station and late dihedral tailplanes. Quickboost has/had two style of "Porcupine" exhausts. However, the canopies remain the most prominent obstacle to actually being able to build a TF.X.

Only the late ones. The change was known as modification 361. However, there were other changes. Out of my memory there were at least different types of navigator cupola shape, nose and Hercules engine exhausts. So you should choose a specific airframe.

This depends on the kit. The Lodela version had parts for a Mk.X whereas the original Mk. IF kit had just the basic nighfighter/fighter-bomber parts without the additional vacform and photoetched parts. Note conversion parts are now available from Model Monkey as well as the full interior in 3D printed parts.

I have received my Zotz A-20J/K Havoc decals, and they are outstanding! Here's a few photos showing them off:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
As we've come to expect from Zotz, the decals are in perfect register, with excellent opacity and color saturation. The reds are particularly vibrant! A total of 8 schemes are included, and while they are similar (all A-20J/K's essentially were), they are each unique and fun.
 
I highly recommend these for the upcoming HK Models 1/32 A-20J/K kit!
