keith in the uk got a reaction from Brad-M in Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc 303 (Polish) Squadron-Tamiya 1/32
Sure is a wonderfull model , the detailing and paint job are surpurb
only one minor mistake and its very common , the crow bars were never Red ( Black or green )
Red crow bars are used on restored spitfires for safety reasons

Go for it Derek. You couldnt have picked a nicer looking Spitfire than the low back MK.XVIE.
As for cockpit shots the Modellers Data File part 1 ( Spitfire Merlin Engine Powered ) should give you all
you need as regards refrence , colours . plans etc.
Great choice of colour scheme to Derek it will be nice to see a natural metal spit , will make a nice change
from the usuall Green / Gray schemes.
Look forward to seeing this one.
Regards Keith.

Wow Tom thats a beauty , Well i am old enough to remember the Lightning at Coltishall , i live in Norwich which is 7 miles from Coltishall.
My farther would allways take me to the airshows during the mid to late 60s , i remember very well the Lightning displays the noise was awsome and used to make your
stomach vibrate they were so loud. I would allways come away with an Airfix kit and be happy for weeks after.
Later when i was a little bit older i would cycle with my mates to Coltishall and climb a tree at the runway approch and wave at the pilots as they came into land , they allways
waved back ah happy days .
