Regarding US Navy aircrews, I had gap for the périod mid 70s to early 80s.
So we made a F-14 aircrew of the first years, with helmet and oxygen mask that was in use before "top-gun 1", so before 1981.

However, as I do not have a F-14 available, i installed them in an Intruder in 1/32 scale :

In my continuing different nations quest, I have come to Poland - this is IBG's sublime 1/32 PZL P-11c. I cannot say enough good about this kit, I wish they would do more... I used a mater brass gun barrels, and btw this is the only 6 gun P-11c... I accidentally dropped not one but two barrels into the wings when mounting them and they refused to come out. Replaced the gear brace PE with a thin piece of steel wire as I bent the PE numerous times handling the kit. Also added HGW seat belts from scaps from other kits. Painted with Hataka laquer paint
 
BTW it is NOT an error that the wing upper surface national markings are not placed symmetrically. For some reason that was the way it was...

Hey,
after building several WWII birds, i finished my third A-6 Intruder....
I just used the Eduard Interior and the AOA decals for the VA-75 from the desert storm period.
All colors used are from Vallejo....
I hope you like her....

I've built 9 Tamiya Spitfires so far, with #10 on the bench. Missing from the pic are 3 PCM XIVs and a pair of Kotare kits.

ICM Gloster Gladiator, out of the box, with PJ Productions Pilot and rigging from EZ Line....
I‘ll post some more pictures in daylight tomorrow...—— DONE 
I was so surprised by this kit, now real flaws, very easy to build....

Cheers Andy, I’m loving the PCM Hurricane plus add ons, this is my kind of modelling! I’m really looking forward to the Revell Hurribomber but I’m a bit concerned that it might be a bit too “straightforward”, being the perverse bloke that I am! Which reminds me, I must finish this straightforward Spitfire:

I was doing a bit of research yesterday about my next Hurricane which I plan to start in the New Year when this one is finished.  The kit will be the new tool Revell IIB, I remember lots of discussion when it was released about the merits of Revell choosing this particular Mk., but my research showed that 175 Squadron operated them out of RAF Warmwell near the south Dorset coast, just 10 minutes away from where I lived in the 1970s. 
175 Squadron flew IIB Hurribombers: 
 

(not a 175 Squadron plane but it was Warmwell)
 
but the Revell kit doesn’t make provision for a Hurribomber. Is anybody aware of any aftermarket bits yet:

Eurofighter Typhoon FGR.4, ZK349 GN-A, Flt. Lt. Ben Westoby-Brooks, RAF No.29(R) Squadron, Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary commemorative scheme, Typhoon Display Team, RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire, Summer 2015.

The markings were a representation of the scheme worn by Hawker Hurricane Mk.I P3576 of No.249 Squadron, the mount of Flight Lieutenant James Brindley Nicolson on 16th August 1940, the day on which he would be awarded Fighter Command’s only Victoria Cross of the Second World War. Wearing the same GN-A fuselage codes as Nicholson’s Hurricane and displaying his personal Red Devil™ emblem under the cockpit canopy, this Typhoon immediately became something of an Airshow phenomenon and was simply referred to as GINA™ by Britain’s army of besotted enthusiasts.

Built from the Revell 1/32 Kit, shes a very large model, aftermarket decals (xtradecal), pilot and home made stand she has taken flight
 

Hello.

I had a pleasure to build at the start of this year my first tamiya 1/32 model, i had it over 3 years along with 2 mustang and mosquito from tamiya in stash but never had a courage to tackle these rather expensive kits before. 
Well after some smaller scale planes and two years of competition where i achieved over 30 awards, I decided my skill are high enough to take the challenge of this kit.
I used HGW seat belts and cockpit decals rest of the kit is OOB with some scratch build detailing love.
Im happy to say it already been to several competition and even won some awards!

Here she is, next up is F-4S USMC.  Some Tamiya borrowed parts, little bit of scratchbuilding and lots of sanding and improvising.  I have a couple Tamiya that i never built so i will get a comparison in the future.  Few things that I decided to live with and hopefully wont bug me.  Canopy,  the wing warp, nozzles arent 100% accurate but I had to complete something after over a decade.  Enjoy
