Haven't been here since Monday last week. So what's  your excuse fool ??
Well,  I fell and fractured one left rib and my right thumb (fractured not broken).
Don't wanna whine but I hope none of you have to spend any time in an emergency
waiting 'lobby' (they called it).  It's like a nightmare form hell  .
Anyway , glad to be back , won't be much on the thunderbolt project but I'll do the
    best I can.

A T-6/Harvard would make absolutely perfect sense Mike because it was the favoured next step for elementary to service flying training, so was as ubiquitous in many areas as the Tiger Moth. Most of course will be the later Mks, the II, III and IV but I’d really like to see a Mk I (edging dangerously close to wish list territory…..sorry!)

Nope, from approximately the instrument panel forward is totally different between 109K-4/G-10 and the G-6/G-14 series.  IF they continue with a similar kit, the next logical choice would be the Bf109G-10 (notwithstanding the various manufacturing facility (WNF/Diana, MTT, Erla) differences.

I think the 109 is unrivalled for its choice of camo finishes, whereas Spitfires tend to be green & brown, which isn't the most striking of paint schemes. I love the famous 109 in North African camo

Pleased it’s been announced, and will definitely be getting quite a few

surprised at the choice, but it will sell in bucket loads

also surprised in that once they decided on a 109, this was the one they went for; indeed of all the WWII variants it’s the one I would have thought the *least* likely.

those citing the Zoukei-mura 109 as the reason they didn’t choose the G-6 ‘family’ are very wrong in my (worthless!) opinion - there is near zero overlap / cannibalisation risk, because unless you absolutely must have an engine and all else be damned, I’ve seen enough from Kotare to realise that whatever the subject, it will be far superior to anything Z-m would churn out.

i am trying to put Kotare in touch with Lynn Ritger since they reached out for ‘experten’ (sic) - he is about to release a book on the technical development of the 109 covering *all* variants, and I’m not aware of anyone who knows more about the plane.

Bf 109K-4...brilliant! I'm a fan of late war 109's. Will help fill Kotare's coffers for future kits.

A bit disappointed in the "will not buy responses" right off the bat. With the Spit many bought kits in order to keep Kotare going, without being big fans of the a/c. Myself included.
