Hey, were right next to Radu's stand! my wallet might take a hit! Also looks like weve got 18 Ft if the boxes are to scale just as well as the The B17 is approaching the finish line.

Throwing my 2p in here, Im just underway building a B17 G and I spent quite some time detailing the cockpit and bomb bay areas only to find that when the fuselage is joined nothing can be seen. That said, the kit cleverly allows the top of the fuselage to be removable for display of the interior should you so wish. I had to permanntly secure the lid on mine so any interior detailing was effectively lost. Just a thought if your up against an expense issue.

Hi Kev, Ive built both the Tamiya and Revell Kit with a Trumpeter offering in the stash . Revell was basic to say the least but still built into a good rendition of the beast Tamiya is unusual as iy has recessed panel lines on the front section and raised on the rear. As far as I can remember the Black Knights boxing was the latest and best . It builds into a nice impressive model The Trumpeter offering certainly offers more parts and options for the money but the accuracy issues are akin to most of the trumpeter kits, that said if you can look past these Im sure it will look Tomcat ish!

Lovely work on the panel Iain. I didnt bother adjusting mine simply because I figured not a lot of it will actually be visible when its all together. I was right. I too have fallen into the trap of interior colour, I mused this many many times and went green throughout, too many references of preserved 17 G's. Sorry Tom. Decaling for me! I am seriously petrified of this because If I mess this up I cant get another Zots sheet!
