  1. Steve, Good input on this. I was thinking the same thing as I was reviewing the instructions. So many interior assemblies to line up and if something is slightly off could throw other things off and be a cummulative effect. Also with alignment need to check the fuselage cover over the rear engine as I've read a couple of initial build reviews that could throw that alignment off as well. Mark H
  2. Love the kit I just got today. I did notice that I see the mirrors on the clear spruce but not instructions for installation. The paint scheme for the fuselage sides are the same in the instructions. Time to pull out the Monogram book. But I love this kit!!
  3. I saw from the web postings that they sold some kits at Tenfold but I can't find them for sale on the web, not even on Fly's website. MarkH
  4. All I saw was that the lip in that area was not consistent for maybe a quarter inch. No big thing. Are you using a magnifying lenses to look the kit over? Lol MarkH
  5. Anyone notice that for the bomber or photo recon version I didn't see any bomb or windows for the cameras? MarkH
  6. Wow, Only 50 euros. That's about 62 USD! Add on shipping and it sounds like a deal. MarkH
  7. Hey, maybe I can graft on the Paragon set I have? But I'd have to carve off the pregnant belly and replace it with an old Revell one too. Wish they'd do a bull nose NF ASAP. MarkH
  8. Any word on price? Ther's nothing onthe website. I also think the engine exhausts look a bit undersized. MarkH
  9. Did my part to snap one up as well as soon as I saw this. I was checking each day for this. For me the total cost is about $10 less then ordering from Lucky Model and, even though I like PCM, it saves me on sales tax since I'm in Calif. and so is PCM and would have been charged the sales tax. Now I have my Ho 229 AND my Do 335!!! MarkH
  10. I was thinking the same thing regarding the wing joint tab. It needs to be bigger or have a separate spar for it. MarkH
  11. Yep, same here. Should have it tomorrow or Monday since I'm in Nor. Cal and Volks is in So. Cal. CAN'T WAIT!!!! Mark H
  12. With only a couple of 1/32 kits out and a few others announced, and the P-39 being kit # 13, I wonder what all the other missing numbered ones are? Good be interesting since KH is picking some good subjects. Mark H
  13. Besides the new 1/32 Sabre Dog KH is also coming out with a new P-39Q in Aug. 2015. http://www.kittyhawkmodel,com Mark H
  14. Ah ha! Thanks for the update. To my old eyes and the fuzzy enlargement it looked like a V2. A V7 is all the better.
  15. Looks like Z-M is going to offer a conversion to make the V2 according to the Z-M release on Cybermodeler.
  16. Looks nice but I'm more interested in the HeS 011 engined version and I also didn't like the intake bullet way up in front of the intake trunk. If he could switch out the exhaust cones like AMTech did and redo the intake I'd be interested in Phase 3. Mark H
  17. What about a new tooled X-1 or a first time U-2? Those shook up the world. Mark H
  18. How come no one ever mentions a DC-3?? This should be an absolute must in 1/32.
  19. Congrats Matt! Beside all trhe music maybe if they have a color guard line you can also teach them the "bottle dance"! Mark H
  20. ah..... 11/2013 getting closer?? really???
  21. Is this a new kit from Antares? He hasn't updated the site in awhile.
  22. The RB1000 would be a better under wing weapon then the X4 or HS293.
  23. I think there is a 1/33 scale one in paper. Largest other media I've seen is resin in 1/48
  24. Over The Blue Horizon bookseller on ebay usually has some of the books. They are in Hawaii. Mark H
  25. Steve, Per the reference I have the tailwheel on a Do 217 is 685x250, the same size at the nose wheel on a Do 335A. For a He 111 it's either 465x165 or on later ones as 500x180. Mark H
