This part of the Tigercat has always been a bit of a mystery as to how it should look. The Monogram 1/72 being an older kit can forgiven for lack of detail due to the age but the 1/48 AMT (Now Italeari) does not have the proper detail either. l will be following this build with particular interest in the wings and how the wheel wells should look. Hopefully l can duplicate it on the Monogram one l want to do up as an 3N night fighter. Awesome work on the nose wheel wells! l filed the pictures away for future reference.

Certainly does rock here. Lots of valuable info here. What l am waiting for is when he does the internal structure behind the pilot. l am curious how it all goes together.

l have had conversations with CSM about other aircraft but they seem at the moment keeping to simple subjects due to tooling cost, With WnW out of the picture we're left with either this one or the Hobbycraft one ( on my list until l see the Roden kit) l also have the 1/28 Revell kit of the Spad but it an old boxing but no decals. Now aftermarket decals for that one in USAAS in Rickenbacker makings is really hard to find. Speaking of CSM has anyone seen their new kits coming?

Here is a curiosity question. Can you take the Tamyia kit and upgrade it to the new EX variant? To me they both looks the same except for the internals.

One of my major wants was the Hobbycraft 1/32 A-36 Apache. l got the P-51 and the 51A models but trying to get the A-36 was a long time coming. On the weekend l was checking my Ebay lists when the kit popped up at a reasonable price and with buy it now button. Of course yours truly jump right on it and it is now making its way to the stash which is in boxes right now for the big move to bigger digs. Maybe l can sneak it into one of the boxes before the wife sees it lol

Recently I purchased a Spitfire/Seafire conversion and it had the Mastercaster’s 1/32 Spitfire Mk 22/24 cockpit. I wish another one but the site been down for a bit . Are they still in business? It does says coming soon yet nothing so far. Any ideas on this?

These days what you hear or read believe only 5% of it. Newspapers today sometime do not print the whole truth about any situations. They like to sensationalize a lot of things. WnW could simple figured that currently getting things in or out is a hassle plus they could be like everyone else working from home office wise that is. Unless there is an official statement from the company believe nothing. One question to answer why is where do they get their tooling and molding done? That could be the reason why they stopped operations for now
