  1. Combat made the H-34.But have not seen it on the new listings.Larry
  2. Cees, Found a bunch of intel on google and it may help u out in the long run.s for the wheel and tires.I have a pair of R/C type for u.But have no idea as to the dia.I check a couple of guys i know and see what i can come up with for the dia.I'm no good when it comes to sizing from mm to inches. For the props will be the same as to the dia.I have a revell beau kit and it's not going anywhere as to the props.Larry
  3. Cees, With what u have done so far is spot on.Even though as to the fuselage pieces and the sanding and fitting. But there are at times there will be a gap or so here and there. But filling them is no problem for us vac guys.As to the wheels and tires and props. The beau from revell as u mentioned should be some what of a help,as to u'er parts that u'er needing.Even robbing a kit for a part should not sit u back on this project. If u need a part and i have it.I get it to u.I'll check the stash as to some reference pic's and see what i can do for u.Larry
  4. J, Have not seen anything at all.Me thinks as inquiring minds want to know. That u might be leaning towards doing one. There is alot of intel and pic's on the radial tempy.Larry
  5. Rob, OK on the Meteor. But as to raising the cat and the K.How about double or nothing here.Double raise u to a AC-47 gunship and a Mossie and a Beau.U'er covered.Larry
  6. Rob, I'll raise the A-20 and A-26 to a B-26K Nimrod.Nam style.And to call,A Dottile's Raider B-25B.Larry
  7. Me SSSMMMEEELLLLSSSS an A-20G havoc in the hat of what might be coming out!!!!Larry
  8. Derek, U know me as to the widow.If u need me.Just YELL!Larry
  9. The D 86 conversion works very well with the hase 86 kit.Did one awhile ago and it looked pretty good when finished.I figure if john does one for either the hase or the kinetic kit.It be good for anyone who wants a sabre dog in their collection.Larry
  10. The 86 conversion had the canopy, tow fuselage halves and the nose for the D model 86 and better known as the sabre dog.Larry
  11. Derek are very own announced as to a resin widow in 32nd.But i'll let him confirm this as to the postings early this year.Larry
  12. I agree as to what stephen has said as to the other replies. But for us old guys that have been around way back in the stone age of modeling.Companies as revell, monogram, strombecker, aurora, and a few others. They took the modeling thing and spread it around for those who remember when modeling was modeling. Companies are looking at all the sites as to what trump and hase have been doing kits wise for us die hard builders. But as for companies giving us what we want. That's a different story all together and will be the same after i'm dead and buried. We want and want. But relieve is still a short coming and if the companies are really listening to us.The only way is what each issue of FSM provides us with each year as to new and re-release dates and etc.Revell and i have said this before here in the US will never be it's former self as to what RoG is doing now as to the JU-88 and the soon release of the HE-111.We must look further into the futre as to what will come as to a new kit and hope we get what we want.Even the company making the B-25J is something of a start. But no one knows if and when anything will be developed from then in the near future. We should give the companies a pat on the back as to what they have done for us.But writing and calling them has fallen short of everyone exspectations if and when one does so in the end.I would think that if ALL companies did what we want. They might consider doing more. But as to the economy and oil prices and etc. They don't want to waste time and money if they do not make their money back in the long run.Take the case in point as to the RoG of the JU-88.And if the HE-11 takes off as to sales and etc. Then i would figure that RoG will be the front runner and leave trump in the dust in the long run. When was just starting out building models. We old guys know when that was the pennical of building and we had no problems as to building and waiting for something or anything for that matter to come out on the market.U guys of today are making head way.U younger guys who have the skills far out there in left field are going to carry it further down the road than we older guys here on the site.Old is and i say this in all fairness is over 50 and i'm not trying to put anyone on the spot. But we need to reasure ourselves that companies are doing their jobs making kits. But may have went in another direction as to 32nd being their main objective.Larry
  13. The A-26 or better known as the B-26K used in nam has all the vac parts to do the 26K.Larry
  14. Brian, As to what steph said and to having the first release of the ID kits.Yes,It was a trial and error thing for the first owner. But the ID vacs back then were way above the order of vacs to any scale.Have built both the ID and the Combat and their to me,The same across the broad.Same for the plans that came with either kit.I agree that the resin or whatever detail parts that came with the kit or not would not to be to anyones likings. Combat and as to Jeff Robert's has taking the bull by the horns and has and is coming out with alot better in the way he has been popping them for those who order from him.The B-26 i built was to say.Off the wall and the clear parts are ACES!He has gone way out in left field to make the Combat kits alot better than to when john owned the molds. But john was trying to regroup and redo some of the molds before his passing. But i figure and to the way john, aka.Tigger will take the ID molds and give them a real good going over as to what he has stated on the site.If u wish to sell the F7F or trade for it would interest me.Larry
  15. Matt, If i can get another kit and i have found one over the pond awhile ago.I'll be doing the two seat day fighter with the drop tanks under the outward stations under the wings. The late and almost could have been have been driving crazy as to certain types that were going to be done. Then dropped.Larry
  16. Guys, Some info for and as for Combat kits and as to getting them.Jeff is a one man operation and he has a full time job.One other thing is that jeff has to drive to and from john's shed to cast the vacs as to those who order them.Sometimes it takes 4-6 weeks to get a kit.And it depends on how many orders he has as to anyone getting a kit.As for the detail parts. Some are generic from kits and some are right on the mark.Jeff Herne was going to help jeff robert's update his site. But i guess things got in the way ot whatever as to job and family. And if i remember right as to jeff updating jeff's site.He was going to post pic's of what the detail sets contained.Hope this helps out as for the questions u wanted answers for.Larry
  17. ID did make the HO-229 Flying Wing to let u know. But will have to see if john has the old mold of it though.Larry
  18. Don't beleive in everything u read.It may come true. But it could be a few years or s down the road. And remember what happened to the TBD that was suppost to come out tow years or so ago.Larry
  19. Barry, One of the guys here on the site did one about three odd years ago.If i remember right. His name was aeroppoxy. But maybe one of the guys might know for sure.As i remember right as to the build. The kit resin was very thick and and alot of work as to what he did with it.U might be able to find his work on the site under In Progress or in the Article link. I know that combat makes one in vac.Had one but sold it.It was ok for being a vac kit and some what better than the resin one and cheaper.Larry
  20. Well,Let's see here as u have never built a chopper.U have a great start and as to all the extra goodies u'er adding to the pit and the use of items u have laying around.I would say.Very Well Done for u'er first chopper. And i like my whiskey on the rocks or straight up.Keep it up.Larry
  21. Now,That's one very nice viper and i always liked those wild color schemes for the tail on the viper big time.Very well done indeed.Larry
  22. Harold, Just a thought here as to u'er posting of what might happen after u get some other projects out of the way.Back in 03'.I built the ID 84 and used the CAM resin set for the F-86.And i thought about this as to what u have said and posted on the site.Even the items u mentioned are way better. But back then.It was the only game in town.Larry
  23. Ray, I guess the more i build a vac.The better i get at doing them. And the more super glue i use as well.helps a bunch. And i cut alot of corners when i start one.Larry
  24. Jeff, U and me are the only two that have done helldivers.Might be a third as to a member asking about a kit i have of the helldiver.Larry
  25. Steve, The pic's i got were on google.Never saw anything as to the radiator flpas. For some reason these black V model 219's were no covered as well as the later 219 nightfighters.Larry
