  1. Just a quick note: you can get good blackener from most gun shops. It's made by Birchwood Casey and called "Brass Black" and sells at a reasonable price. We use it here at Fotocut®(see review pages) for blackening some of our products when needed. Works well, it's fast, and lasts a long time. Just be sure there's no fingerprints or other "dirt" on hte part(s) when using it.
  2. Welcome also from Central NY State, USA! Keep up the good work - you'll get a gold star...LOL We'll be watching
  3. Kevin, I tried to paste the URl of the review of our Sutton Harnes Hardware set from the LSP review pages. Can't seem to paste it now...but it's there!
  4. If you need Sutton Harness hardware and correct instructions, check out: Thanks in advance fo looking !

  8. Lookin' good, Gene! Welcome from dreary central NY state.
  9. Nice start, Old Dog ! I can hardly wait to see the 1/32 scale launch vehicle to go with it...
  10. Welcome to the Forums, Chango ! You'll find understanding, knowledgeable friends here. All kinds of Large Scale Planes discussed, built, modified, celebrated, and moaned about. Good buncha people from all over the world ! I'll look forward to your progress on this model. About its size: I went to the museum in Dayton to see the B-36(what a huge monster, and hard to believe something so big would even move, let alone fly!). Then, when I saw the B-29, I thought it a bit small. And then the B-17 seemed disappointingly tiny. Still, it's a big aircraft. All a matter of perspective...
  11. Thanks, guys. The silverware has to be reasonably-costed, as it's "volume"(however low) and has to be sold at retail for a reasonable price. I did scroll down - looks nice - I will send her that info when she gets home. Thanks, everybody !.
  12. Alclad is an idea...I'll keep it in mind. Thanks! How would one apply it to tiny pieces, I wonder.
  13. BTW, BobMDC, Manufacturing in small(very small) quantities is our specialty - and yes, it can be a real PITA, but our customers will not settle for lower quality...and in small quantities, quality control is better.
