Due to COVID-19 pandemic, I spent more time to stay at home and could finally finished my 2nd A-1H Skyraider Trumpeter. So here are a few shots of Navy gray camouflage version. It's much more simple but it took me around 2 years to get it done.

The kit is cheaper than the ZM's model with fully ordnance along (missing Napalm bombs is sad for VNAF's aircraft but ok). During the assembly, I had no real problems but rescribing the rivets and panel lines. The origin is narrow and we don't see effectively the shading technique. I also scratched the cover for extraction system with tissue paper. The kit was painted with Mr.Color and washed with oil paints.

Many thanks to AOA decals who spent time for research then give us good quality and accurate decal sheets.
Here enjoy with me and I hope you will like it.

Well, I've got a set and I spent some time removing the pour blocks and test fitting.

    Thoughts

+ Cans are the correct size and fill the space well.
+ Detail is really good, should be easy to pick out with paint.

    - The Turbine section / Exhaust Tube section don't fit together well at all. Considering this is CAD, I can't figure that one out.
    - The box are shows the exhausts have a slot milled in the side to accept the kit part to locate them. This doesn't exist on the actual parts and there's no location aids out the box.
    - I get the feeling they'll need to be fully painted and installed before the kits gets fully built.

Going to do some more test fitting with a stalled F-4E and if there's enough interest, I'll upload some photos.

Here are my photos from the model show put on by IPMS Atlanta, Saturday.
It's been about 19 months since the last show.  There were a lot of great subjects on the tables...a lot of enthusiasm to get back to having shows.
These photos are a good sample.  I wandered around and took photos of whatever caught my eye.
There are some very good LSP subjects I'm sure you will spot.
I'm happy to report my Space: 1999 Eagle Transporter won 2nd place in the SciFi category!

    Enjoy the pics.

This last weekend, ably assisted by the Memsahib ( I know ive spelt this wrong) , I gave a number of my builds an airing at the Inaugural "Blue Light Expo" hosted by West Midlands Police model club at Tally Ho! training centre Birmingham.
I packed up whatever I could transport safely in the car and set off.
Arriving relatively unscathed (one gear door detached) I set up and hoisted the banner.

I have to say, after a good length of time being "show starved" we had a great turnout of clubs traders and public alike also bumped into Ollie Holmes who displayed his Swiss Hunter on the table.

Unfortunately I couldn't really buy much other than a set of Valejo French airforce paints for the forthcoming Mirage and,,,, oh yes a Zoukei Henschel 129!!!

Anyhow, heres a couple of photos, and roll on Telford.

The 1/48 CH-54 Tarhe pictured earlier in this thread not only took first place in the “Scratch Built” category, but also was judged “Best Aircraft” and received the “George Lee Judges Grand Award.”

Depends on what you are going to build. There are a lot less 1/32 than 1/48 aircraft.

I just received my kit, with all the upgrades. Came quickly from Hannant’s to me in the USA— at least I thought it was quick.
As to all this talk of “disappointment” and “bang for the buck”, the kit is and was exactly what I expected and paid for. This is likely my only option for an SB2C in 1/32 scale. Yes, it is not Tamiya quality, but I seriously doubt that Tamiya, or any of the major manufacturers will be doing another SB2C. Still, you should be able to build a very nice and credible model of the Helldiver. For a first injection molded effort, I think that Infinity has done a fine job. I look forward to their kit of the Val too— for all the same reasons.

I got my notice from Hannants yesterday - just waiting to ship out... I did not get any of the upgrade sets - but total cost with shipping to Central Florida was only around $93... I'm really looking forward to seeing this beast in person...
