Wonder if they will sell the electronics separately? I've got two Ju-88s in the stash and I'm not sure that I would buy another for all of the gizmos. 

Thanks for the great review! I've got the Trumpy K and G-6 in the stash, so I will certainly be buying these wheels. I just emailed Roy begging for some 1/24 Emil style wheels. I've got five Airfix Es in the stash that need new wheels, and of course, they would be good for the Trumpy G-2 or anyone (like me) back dating the kt to a F.

That mystery HGW part. It's not supposed to be a cushion for the back of the seat is it?

Good observation on the photo. It does indeed look as if the spinner back plate is painted red. It's an exact match for the cheat line.

Although I can appreciate fully both sides of opinion on the base, I like the mirrored version much more. It focuses totally on the airframe and allows full observation.
 
The only distraction maybe other objects reflecting in the mirror.

Just seemed like the logical choice to me. I mean, just look at the detail in those wheel wells alone! Be a shame not to be able to see every inch of this model.

I think I'm with you there Rich. If it were mine, I would be displaying this beauty on a mirrored base to show off everything!
