    2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT Cockpits!!

Not screaming, just doing my best to emphasize that they are completely different Cockpits. Not just due to the floor but the side consoles, the instrument panel, the seat, the rear bulkhead, the return for the sliding hood on the edge of the turtle deck, the arrangement of equipment...etc

Awesome finish on this G-6.  Luftwaffe mottling can be tough, even with an airbrush but you've done an unbelievable job with a brush.

Awesome looking cockpit, Jay!  Everything looks functional, which is an unobtainable goal for me.  And the new boot looks much better!

I just looked at the Yellow Wings website. What i saw for 1/32nd scale was tailored for specific aircraft, no multi purpose generic letters and numbers sheets.

Good news, but I hope they get the C-200 out soon.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the wartime C-205's were based very much on the C-202.  They were built in two series, the series I and the series III and known as the C-205V.  The series I planes retained the fuselage mounted half inch guns, but also had a 0.3in (7.9mm) popgun in each wing.  The series III machines substituted the popguns for wing mounted 20mm cannon, but these were built in fewer numbers.

There was supposed to be a much redesigned version, the C-205N, but I think this only flew in prototype form.    Could be wrong here, again.

So I'm wondering if Italeri is going to offer the wing gun and cannon option?  The rest of the changes to the kit would be fairly simple in the form of a DB-605 engine, altered lower cowling with two oil coolers, different prop and rounder spinner.  I know there were other changes, but more minor detail (cockpit??)  It would be nice to see Italeri correct some of the flaws in the C-202, and the first and easiest to fix should be those control surfaces.  Should we have a poll to see who thinks they'll fix these things and who doesn't expect any changes??

Either way, I'm having one anyway.  I'm enjoying my present C-202 build.

    Michael

Italeri, the 1980’s called. They want their panel line trenches back. Please oh please correct this with the 205 and for all kits moving forward!

Is this old news? Italeri are apparently doing an Mc.205 to be released early 2025 (Catalogue number 2519S - so not the same as the Mc.202).

    Kind regards,

BTW, if you want to go a proper route on your flaps, only the outer most flap next to the ailerons are fabric covered! Also the cutout on the inner most flap on the starboard side should be filled in too.

    Keep on keeping on!

Oh, BTW. It looks that the Blue "chip" is placed right on the fin, according to the photos you show of her. What's off is the Light Gray on the leading edge panel as supplied by the mask. From bottom to top it's too big. The bottom "rectangle" that starts the light gray is to tall which throws of the stencil from jump if I'm being clear? It's clear in the picture you posted. Gorgeous work once again!
