  1. Eric, could you list the products you use for this, I assume you are getting them from Barnes in Brissy. Jason.
  2. Ok, I will admit that I am a home grown Aussie, no one born here ever went to school? Everybody's second language is English! And we learned to spell from the back of a Corn Flake box( same place where driving licenses come from)' And best of all is sarcasm is the best way of getting your point across? Jason ( wait for it) oH and. lest we Forget
  3. Wow, wow woW and WOW. And look at the size of the Connie! Jason
  4. Mirage III of course. My father used to refuel them down at Avalon when they where in their prime. 8 hours at a time of engine test runs hooked directly to the tanker. Kidney belts were mandatory apparently. But let me finish my revell kit with EricG's goodies first! Jason
  5. And I was just about to start my Hawk scratch pit. good catch mate.
  6. Good work Gary, I have one similar to that. I actually met the CO of the Kadina Eagles at an Airshow once. Had him autograph the box top of the Tamiya F-15c kit i had in my hands and then after looking at it he tells me that he had flown the actual aircraft depicted on the box. Then he looked at me like I was a bit nerdy. Jason
  7. OOB except for resin wheels and P.E. belts. Jason
  8. Having held the first test shot in my hands, it sure is a big lump of resin. Looks excellent Eric, can't wait for the rest of the cockpit....... Jason
  9. AND THE WINNER IS .......... Thanks for a good day Eric &. IPMS QLD. The Hawk is as amazing up close as in the pics. I will try to get to the next club meeting and also look forward to the next show. The challenge is ON! Jason
  10. Mark, I have built the Kangam kit with a lot of PE on it. It builds up ok and looks like an apache on the shelf, but I wouldn't sit it next to the real thing. The sponsons are too short for sure but the overall shape wasn't to bad. Will post a pic if you want. Jason
  11. Hi Rohan, hope this helps. This is the front gear of an F-18E VFA-27 at Avalon in 2003. This is the front gear of our Aussie Rhinos at Avalon 2011. And again at Avalon in 2013. Seems to be unchainged to me. Jason
  12. Dave I assume you are talking about the turntable, I don't know as I will have to look into getting the parts as I made it up from bits around the house. If enough people are interested I would look into it, keeping in mind the table is made out of aluminum (2.3kg) so postage might be nasty. Jason
  13. As requested, Alley Cat. Hawker Fury Mk 1 Jason
  14. I was looking for a way to save my neck and shoulders while rigging biplanes and came up with this idea. Holds any size model firmly, taildraggers and tricycle. Rotates by hand 360' and wont spin away when applying pressure to model. Crossbars are interchangeable and removable. Should be useful for airbrushing and decalling too. Jason
  15. WOW, I've just been to the Avalon Airshow in Melbourne Australia and witnessed the first public display of the Raptor in Australia. I guess it was its last as well, for the time being at least. Quite disappointing. Jason
