  1. The joys of parametrics!
  2. This is an extreme example of what the above settings can change... The chunky version is set to a 1mm mesh giving 2664 facets. It takes my ancient laptop a blink of an eye to render. The smoother version is set to 0.001mm and results in over 1.5 million facets. It takes my ancient laptop almost one minute to render.
  3. 1/72!!! I nearly cried when it transpires these absolute beauties are only 1/72! Oh for a 61 in 1/32...
  4. Nothing I'll not be able to sort out with the angle grinder myself it it is bad enough to notice. 😁
  5. Ahah! That one may have to be on my little list methinks. That's a lot of kit for that meney if it is the same standard as the Chippy Ho. I do recall that one being quite a superb looking set of mouldings, even though I never took them out of the bags.
  6. Which one(s?) have you got? I did have an Academy 'Chippy Ho!' as a present a very long time ago but wasn't modelling then and sold it. Bigger fool me now I suspect...
  7. Me too via Jadlam. Points and freepost lost Hannants the sale.
  8. Outstanding stuff. Just over a month ago, nothing made any sense with the CAD process. After much clawing at the wallpaper, biting my nails up to the elbows, ripping out the very sparse hair that was left anyway off my head learning the stuff in anger, I now have at least 10% grasp of what's going on! Maybe 10.6% on a good day!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Your Harrier is going to be a beauty! Β£100 UK price ticket will sit well...
  9. It's a Hustlin' on very well indeed!
  10. I like sitting back and rotating designs and watching the shading and highlighting shift. Changing 'material' can show some showy effects!
  11. One at a time... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ (not really!)
  12. I forgot I remembered it... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Old age creeping up is such a pitb sometimes.. Hair falling out, eyesight requiring ever longer arms... Ah well, there's always 24th scale...
  13. Opera has been around long before internut enabled phones. I started using it as far back as 1996 or so.
  14. That's a quality set of figurines. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  15. "Can't connect to local MySQL server " Potentially its database is gone... Could be other things, but there's no connection to the database.
  16. Indeed. I have had many a grumpy message from site owners when cpanel has one of its myriad updates and things break. Generally no biggie, but to site owners... 😬😬😬😬
  17. Shame someone couldn't check the php version of it's hosting server. The 500 error could be due to an incompatible version of php for the website package. Chances are that won't happen by server admin or site owner/s and the site is in memorium... πŸ˜”
  18. Absoblimminlutely! Lovely kit that it is. Back to CAD torture for me!
  19. No mention of anything being banned. Imagur's platform and they decide how to run it. No complaint there. The lunacy involved is the parent company of imagur are still offering other platforms to the UK market that have the same responsibilities under the Act... Whatever 'measures' are put in place to limit the Internet and access to it, none work, as there is always a way around things. πŸ™„
  20. It is because of UK legislation called 'The Online Safety Act' that requires certain Internet services such as social media, search engines and a whole lot more to comply with said act if they provide content to the UK. Compliance often means integrating some form of age confirmation system (credit card details mostly) to be able to view sites and companies like imagur decided they wouldn't do that so simply blocked access for UK based IP addresses. It is, however, not at all illegal for UK dwellers to view any sites that are choosing not to comply with the Act.
  21. Lovely model. 😁😁
  22. Well, if you are going that far, can you do the Mk.3A as well? It only has an extra wing and nine engines. No rush at all, but I could do with it by Tiffin time on Wednesday... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Nothing you do should put you into anyone's deadline. You simply have to work exactly as you please. Apprehension is 100% normal too! It will be fine Iain! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  23. Do the ellipsis indicate an unfinished thought perchance... πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
