  1. Same here. Keep a couple of thicknesses. Works great.
  2. MD has this one--not sure of the variant, just "late" https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MDMDR3256
  3. Interesting history behind this bomb. Actually a IJN 16" round that was machined to remove metal on the aft end (thus the taper), then an additional fuse was installed. While suitable for armor penetration, it carried a VERY small explosive charge (about 50 lbs) in relation to it's 1760 lb weight. At least two hits at PH were low-order detonations due the casing breaking, bending or cracking on impact-----probably due to the thinned casing
  4. I just placed an order from Hannants a few weeks ago. No kits, just masks, decals (no tariff) and small parts. I religiously use PayPal only, but that required tracking and was about $35. I broke my rule and used a CC and it was $17 (non-tracked). Not sure what a kit would be.
  5. looking great! So sorry about the bunny----I used to have a backyard rabbit, it was always great watching him run around and play
  6. Good for you! I have no idea why RG hasn't repopped this and the Ju-88. I have both, thankfully, I bought for $70 each about 10 years ago. CMK has some nice cockpits for both
  7. There are a few cool control room decal detail sets on Ebay, including the four-window version (#707) for under $30
  8. I know what you mean, I have the Pegasus Nautilus (an nice little kit) with a very extensive lighting kit. The extra work has kept it on the shelf. I'll be watching this one.
  9. Are we going to light this one up? https://www.cozmicscalemodels.com/product-page/seaview-lighting-kit
  10. It's a tricky business for sure. I wonder if there are any pics of Dr.1s with known OD cowlings to compare shades
  11. I've heard the yellow cowl argument----the photos LOOK a little too dark for that. Interestingly, the Encore Voss kit addresses this issue as an option, although it leans to the OD cowling.
  12. That bad? Glad I went Great Wall. Have all three of the V bombers (not built), I have a weakness for these 1/144 bomber kits. I heard the Trumpy TU-95 isn't so great either, so maybe the Zvezda...
  13. I believe no tax with Squadron, so shipped about maybe $141-142. But you may get yours sooner!
  14. Great price on the Arado!
  15. Have two of these kits----I couldn't decide between the rocket or twin-argus version. Twin will be a factory scene, but those wood-grain decals are now impossible to find, so I may just go NM fuse with camo wings.
